Film Analysis

Hercules

Ordinary World: Living with humans. People don't like him because he is always destroying stuff with his strength. He struggles to fit in and fulfill his purpose.
Call: Hercules goes up to place where their is a statue of his father which comes to life and tells him that he needs to become a true hero to become a God.
Refusal: He's refusal almost comes at the end when he decides to give up being a God in order to stay with Meg.
Mentor: His mentor is phil who is his trainer.
Threshold: Hercules crosses the threshold when he goes to the underworld to save Meg.
Test, allies, enemies: He has many test were he has to fight beast in order to save people. He is also tested when he lost his powers and also when he had to save Meg without killing himself. His enemy is hades.
Approach: His approach is when he lost his powers he didn't give up and had to find a way to still save people so he fought even without powers.
Ordeal: When he goes to save Meg and he almost dies.
Reward: He becomes a true hero and gets his powers back.
Road Back: He gets powers back in ordinary world and Meg.
Resurrection: When he had to go help is father and everyone else who had been captured by Hades and fight the beasts.
Return with Elixir: He returns with Meg and realizes what a true hero is.
